Brand Story
Boeme is a new boutique hotel concept created by French hospitality group Lion Resorts. The first location will open in Malta in 2026, followed by a second in Thailand in 2027.
The Brief
To create a brand that exudes understated luxury while remaining warm and welcoming. The brand needed to appeal to a chic, worldly audience who love to travel, experience culture, and connect with other travellers.
What We Did
We positioned Boeme as a modern luxury brand that avoids the stuffiness often tied to “luxury,” while still carrying presence, weight, and timeless appeal. This is a hotel designed to endure. A place that could still be celebrated in the pages of Vogue a century from now. The brand identity needed to reflect that same sense of lasting elegance and cultural relevance. We created a brand identity that is elegant, contemporary, and deeply tied to the hotel’s story and sense of place.

Boeme is a sanctuary, a place to rest and feel restored. Inspired by Saint James the Greater, patron saint of pilgrims, the logo draws on the scallop shell, blooming flowers, Greek water fountains, and palm trees — symbolising protection, renewal, and regrowth after a week at Boeme.

The colour palette is rooted in the hotel’s surroundings and materials: soft limestone from the Malta cliffs, warm rust tones of corten steel used in the interiors and gardens, and rich olive green from the trees that surround the property.
