Chalk is a young, creative architecture practice and design studio dedicated to producing beautiful, environmentally conscious buildings and spaces. We collaborated with company owners Jonny and Anna to develop a modern brand identity and logo design, as well as a portfolio website that showcases their services and projects.
The brand identity exudes a warm, approachable, yet refined style. The brand colors feature rich shades of yellow, brown, and olive, inspired by architectural and building materials like stone, brick, and corten steel, as well as the surrounding natural landscapes of their projects. The identity also features Swiss-inspired typography, adding a smart and contemporary touch.
The website neatly showcases the practice’s architectural projects in Bath, Wiltshire, and Somerset. We created a CMS system that allows the Chalk team to manage the website and populate case study pages with ease. Additionally, we developed a blog where the team can share insights and knowledge about their expertise. The website also effectively highlights the company’s services.
