Jim Atherton Chairman
Following a brief spell lecturing in Further Education, Jim has been working in design and marketing for over twenty years. He established New Century in 1994, in Chard, before the move to the Dillington Estate in 2005. A keen walker and birdwatcher, he is fortunate to live on the Blackdown Hills.
Glen Cheyne Managing Director
Glen has 14 years' experience in design and print, managing blue chip accounts for some of the country's largest print organisations. Before relocating to the South West, he spent 5 years as Creative Director with a leading West London design agency, managing accounts for major record label, publishing and corporate clients.
Gavin Estimating & Production
Trained as a graphic designer for five years before working on the design side of the print industry for 13 years, in Dorset and Devon, before joining New Century in 2007. During his career, Gavin has fulfilled a number of creative, administrative roles, including a four year stint as Studio Manager in Exeter.
Darren Studio Manager
Darren has over 17 years experience within the design industry, specialising in concept development, typographic design, annual reports and corporate identity. His extensive knowledge of print production enables him to ensure the quality of creative work is carried through to the finished result.
Leyton Lead Creative
Leyton started his career in publishing, becoming Senior Designer at a leading national sports magazine. He subsequently worked as a freelance designer for various agencies, gaining a wider knowledge of branding, advertising, packaging and new media. Leyton's a great all-rounder with 10 years' experience.
Paula Senior Creative
Working in a design environment for 19 years, predominantly in the corporate and financial sectors, Paula diversified into publishing and cosmetic packaging. From corporate identity to full brand application and financial advertising, she has covered a large spectrum of areas and continues to add to these achievements.
