Nicky's Celebration of Life and Travel

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer at 30, when Nicky McMahon was given the all-clear following a successful fight against the illness, there was only one thing on her mind - how can I give something back to help people in a similar situation?

Nicky previously worked for the country’s leading publisher of fine art greeting cards, Woodmansterne Publications, who themselves have raised over £2million for a variety of charities over the last decade. That experience, combined with a stack of photographs from a celebratory 12 month world tour, meant launching a series of greeting cards in aid of Breast Cancer Care was the obvious answer.

Ice-Cream-Parlour-Scoops-Cool-Launch-Branding

The opening of Rinky Tinks ice cream parlour in Lyme Regis on July 4 saw guests confirm the nation’s love affair with ice cream by braving monsoon conditions to join the celebrations.

It was a wonderfully eccentric and quintessentially British sight - hoards of people enjoying ice cream and champagne, whilst huddled under a huge canopy of umbrellas during the sort of wet Summer’s evening that is, sadly, becoming all too familiar.

Mill Owners Win Hamper

When Craig and Gail Taylor visited The Taste of the West Trade Show in Exeter the last thing they expected was to win a Somerset Hamper of Cider, Apple Juice and other regional delights.

The owners of Clapton Mill situated between Crewkerne and Lyme Regis were visiting the trade show to expand the product range for the Tea Rooms and Restaurant. They entered the competition to “guess the Name of the goat” and with a little bit of “goaty” knowledge came up with the right answer.
