Minehead Attraction Wins Hamper
Kate Kravis was delighted with the news that she had won a basket of goodies from the Somerset Cider Brandy Company. New Century chairman, James Atherton, presented the prize to Kate on a hot and sunny Minehead promenade, opposite The Queens Hall that Kate runs along with several other enterprises in the West Somerset resort.
Queens Hall has been a popular rendezvous for holidaymakers since the 1930s. A great family-run pub that prides itself on quality food and drink - it's now turning into one of the premier live entertainment and sporting venues in the area, with its giant 27ft sports screen and theatre-size stage. Events include live bands, a comedy club and karaoke! www.kravis.co.uk.
The hamper was packed with Somerset Cider Brandy products, including three varieties of apple juice, Kingston Black Aperitif and, of course, the award-winning, legendary Burrow Hill Cider. To find out more, or to order from the range, click on www.ciderbrandy.co.uk.
New Century met the Kravis team at the Taunton Deane/West Somerset food exhibition held at Taunton School in April. Marketing plans were discussed for the businesses in the Kravis Limited portfolio and plans are being drawn-up for the 2009 promotional programme.
